I am selling this guitar for a friend whom I helped acquire it. He wanted to get back into steel but hasn’t found the time so he is letting it go. It has surely been played in its lifetime but for its age it is in good condition. Eight pedals and eight knees. Emmons setup. Case is in good order as well. E-66 pickups in both necks.

$3,000 plus shipping. Local pickup in Nashville preferred.

Thanks for looking!

Hi J D,

I believe it must be the same guitar because my friend bought it from Chuck Abend and it looks like that’s who you sold it to. It appears from your post that Chuck (a well trusted steel guitar tech) must have done a repair on the mica at the C6th changer after he bought it from you. Here is an up close picture of the C6th changer now. The changer is super solid in place and is not going anywhere. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Thanks Leo for pointing this out.
By the way I never owned or sold that guitar.
I only pointed out that I was sent pictures privately by the seller which I felt showed issues which should have been disclosed by the seller at that time.

EMCI's are among the best all pulls ever built and it would be nice to know that this one was fixed by Chuck.

Thanks!... J-D.

That is indeed the same guitar. Chuck did a tremendous job bringing this horn
back to life. I owned it for awhile & traded back to Chuck. It’s a very solid guitar with a ton of life left in it. Someone will get a great guitar.

Baxter,

Thanks for chiming in here. I thought Chuck did a great job as well. I dealt with him directly and he did a complete setup on it for my friend before he sold it to him. I had a chance to play it for a few days and I loved it.

I've done a little business with Leo in the past; I found him to be a good guy to do business with. Good luck with the sale...
