This was quite a tricky one but well worth playing as it gave me such an insight into Sol Hoopii's playing style and the steel guitar music from the that era. Played on a Gretsch G9231 metal bodied resonator with back up from a tenor ukulele and a ukulele style bass. I hope you all enjoy,
Mike.

Nicely done! I've got to get back to learning new material but time and a healthy fear of forgetting the other songs I know get in the way.

Thank you Joe, Jim and Veit for watching and your kind comments.
Lloyd, The hardest thing is remembering the material. I usually play them for the video and never play them again. Seems like such a waste!

Ha! I know that problem. If there only was a slot for a memory card somewhere!

Great work Mike! I thought it was biscuit bridge but did notice evidence of spider? Correct me if wrong. Best Regards Roy

Thank you Roy. The Gretsch Resonator is the Spider bridge type. Not sure there will be many metal bodied instruments with a single cone spider bridge!!!

Thank you Joe. As I have got to understand more about steel guitar playing, the more I am impressed by and love the playing of Sol Hoopii!
