I am on the "wait list" for an Anapeg (we'll see how that goes) and I really like keyless 12s. I currently own a Sierra 12 (8/5 keyless) and love it, but I have always been fascinated by Klines and now Excels. What do you think? I have read that some of you guys believe they are over priced? Anything else?

I have a 2004 Excel Superb S10 6 + 4 with a lock-in lever and a keyless tuner. I wouldn't exchange it for anything I have seen or played to date.

In my opinion, Mitsuo Fugii is one of the best steel guitar engineers, and his products are reasonably and competetively priced.

Steve,,take a look at my Lamar,,,I feel like it is comparable in craftsmanship and engineering to an Anapeg (which I've always wanted, but the desire has been quieted for now). I sold my Kline (which I REALLY liked better than any guitar I've ever owned) when I got this Lamar.

I have a D-10 Excel, and even though I am an extreme new player, I really like it over some others I have played. It stays right in tune all the time. I never have to touch any of the adjustments. One I set it up the first time (or should I say had it setup by someone who knows what they're doing), I haven't had to touch it. I get compliments all the time on its tone. (But then again, maybe they're just being nice).
