Eddie and I have been friends for some 40 years. He is a monster and defies all logic about keeping your bar straight _________________ AUTHORIZED George L's, Goodrich, Telonics and Peavey Dealer: I have 2 steels and several amps. My current rig of choice is 1993 Emmons LeGrande w/ 108 pups (Jack Strayhorn built for me), Goodrich OMNI Volume Pedal, George L's cables, Goodrich Baby Bloomer and Peavey Nashville 112. Can't get much sweeter.

You are right about that Bill! You're quite an entertaining "steelpicker" yourself...[/url] |

Just saw him last night on an airing of the Opry with Jamey Johnson where Jamey was inducted as a member. I almost didn't recognize him. Long hair, hat and beard. I might not have if I had not known the BMI U12 he plays.
He fit right in with Jamey's posse though and played good as always. |

I met Cowboy Eddie Long Friday at the Southern Illinois Steel Show. Steel guitar player with Hank Jr for 15 years and now with Jamey Johnson. Derek Puckett of Rittenberry Steel guitars is in background and made this possible. Thanks Derek!!
