I have a red and a black one and of course the normal polished aluminum pedal. Many years with Goodrich volume pedals.

Hammer-tone powder coatings provide a cost-effective way to provide a good appearance with excellent chemical resistance, while hiding surface defects in castings. The powder itself consists of a color base (any color) plus an agent that craters the basecoat, plus powdered aluminum. The base coat color determines the color of the coating.
