The difference between the two is quite audible. This is good proof that the rest of the guitar has some effect as well. |

I've long been a skeptic of the idea that wood is a major contributor to solid body electric instrument tone. Not that the various structural and mechanical elements of the instrument have no effect, but what happens from string to speaker has much more impact on what reaches our ears. _________________ Nickel and Steel.
