This is terrible news. There will never be another Roy Rosetta.
I never played with another keyboard player like him. He was always on top of the game, playing exactly what the song needed...every time. Plus a true gentleman! RIP ROY ROSETTA! |

Saddened by this terrible news. I admired Roy and his incredible musicianship. He was the glue that bonded the shows and kept the band on target. I can't imagine a show without Roy at the helm. God bless this legend and his family. |

My family is shocked and saddened by this. Roy was always a person we looked forward to seeing. Roy and Barbara could not have been any kinder to Jacob as he got his start playing steel shows. Jacob looked up to him so much and held him in such high regard as one of the legends of the steel guitar show community. Prayers for all. |

I can't believe what I just read.
This breaks my heart. Roy and I have been close friends for so very long.
I just talked to him a couple of weeks ago and we were planning a trip to Louisianna to see Buck & Mitzi Grantham.
My heart is so heavy. _________________ AUTHORIZED George L's, Goodrich, Telonics and Peavey Dealer: I have 2 steels and several amps. A tragic loss; Roy was a pros' pro and the bedrock of many a steel show.
My sympathies go to his family. _________________ Roger Rettig: Emmons D10, B-bender Teles and Martins - and, at last, a Gibson Super 400!

What a loss to all of us. I never met anyone that loved music as much as Roy did, and he was a friend to everyone, all you had to do was say hello and you were friends with him immediately.
Rest in peace my friend, we all loved you and appreciated the talent you shared so graciously with all of us. |

Terrible news, One mighty fine musician, I never heard anyone throw anything at him he couldn’t handle with ease. A great player who worked with all the premier players in the steel guitar community. My sincere condolences to family and may the Lord give them peace. |

I had to read this twice to believe what I was reading.
Roy was such a great and kind man. His musicianship speaks
for itself. It was such a great pleasure knowing he was
there to bail me out when playing shows. Our heartfelt
sadness goes out to Barbara and all the family. Rest in
peace dear friend. Larry and Jean Baker _________________ Mullen G2 SD10 3 & 5 The Eagle

The right words are so hard to find right now.
Roy started coming to the Phoenix show from the beginning, and did so up until a few years ago.
He always called me Panama Jack, from the hat I wore.
Just hand Roy the chart and he'd take care of the rest,
I'll miss Roy forever, my prayers and condolences for Barbara and the family. R.I.P. my friend. _________________ Email: azpedalman@gmail.com

We lost an icon in the steel guitar world. His talent and dedication are unequaled. He was a kind and humble man who made me want to take it up a notch when we played together at the TSGA Jamboree. Also, I was honored when he asked if I would take a couple of piano sets for him.
I pray for peace and strength for Barbara and their family.
