Marshall Stephenson, 84, passed away Thur. Nov. 25. He was a well known promoter and musician in North Carolina. He played and sang for many years on morning TV shows at WRAL in Raleigh and WTVD in Durham. He was a close friend of the late Clyde Moody. Funeral was today. The preacher used some clever metaphores in the service like "Marshall's song is not finished, he's just changed keys and we here below don't know that key YET." Some of his musical friends brought their instuments and we had a good jam at the graveside like he would have wanted.
