New guitar just arrived from Billy Coopers

Just received my new GFI Ultra from Billy Coopers. What a wonderful guitar and experience at Billy and Wandaâ€™s store. I checked out a new Fessenden and the Ultra and with Billyâ€™s guidance decided on the Ultra. Both guitars sounded great and played wonderfully but I decided on the GFI due to its action and the companyâ€™s innovative design and manufacturing. Billy advised me not to spend extra money for a pad and noted that Jerry Fessenden is no longer in business while GFI is and has been a leading manufacturer of pedal steel guitars. Thank you Billy and Wanda. Oh and it shipped just fine - even came out of the case in tune! Now I gotta put my shoulder to the wheel and get me some chops.

That's a long trip up from Orlando, but certainly worth it. Billy and Wanda Cooper are good folks. I bought a new Mullen RP SD-10, a Nashville 112, and some misc stuff from them back in 2005. Great people to deal with, and Billy knows how to pack up a pedal steel guitar for shipping. You did good getting a GFI. I have a GFI S-10 Expo and love it. GFI has easily available parts, and Bob at GFI is easy to work with. I bought a set of 1" extra length legs, a knee lever flag, and 2 pull kits from them. Browse the web site - loads of aftermarket information in the support section. I just got a pull kit in the mail today, so I'll be working on adding it to mine over the weekend. ENJOY!

I bought my GFI Ultra from Billy Cooper a few years back. I had a great experience with them as well.
