Looking for equipment to employ in the testing/ resurrection of amplifiers. Just getting into it- finding that new variable autotransformers are suspect/ potentially hazardous to my (some older than me) Fender heads, so I'm in search of old trusy American iron. At some point I'll want an oscilloscope as well, once I get am inkling of what I'm actually doing. Can drive to pickup if in proximity to St. Louis, MO, or eat the shipping if further away.

Thanks,
Pete

Hamfest is definitely the way to go. I have a bunch of good old test equipment I'm looking to sell, but it's all very heavy and would cost a fortune to ship these days. I'll be trying to sell this stuff locally.

Yeah- I’ve already found a couple fests within 50 miles in the next 30 days, so I’m on track!
