Hi, just a shout-out for Ted Nesbitt in Carickfergus N. Ireland. He sells pedal steels and I find him a good resource for hard to find parts not made any more. He is very reasonable and ships to USA .

We're so lucky to have him here in Ireland

I bought my 1st pedal steel (Fessenden SD10 4x5) from him a few months ago and he handwrote the basics of set up and the 1,4,5 chords for me, and gave me the contact details of 3 players in my area that were friends of his.

I'll be reaching out to them once all this lockdown stuff is over.

My wife and I spent a few days with Ted back in the 90’s. A gracious host, and several years later he attended my sons wedding. A real gem of a guy.

Ted is a prince of a bloke, and very highly respected in the Steel guitar world -- some of his jokes are highly suspect, but his trusty sidekick Ivor usually bails him out :-}

Sadly we won't get to see each other in March Ted (and Ivor) but save up your jokes for the following year - and stay healthy and safe in the meantime !!!
