Greetings. I’m ready to pull the trigger on a SCX2 head and the SC112 extension cab. Interested in opinions an any thoughts on the Celestion G12P-80. Primary use will be for lap steel, both clean and overdriven.

Cliff, I can't speak for that Celestion but my Fender Super Champ XD drives my external cabs with a great tone. I used it on a few gigs for Telecaster only and it was fine. Not enough headroom for me for the pedal steel. Lap steel it's probably good.
