I just retrieved the red lacquer problem child from Tommy Casella, and words cannot describe the transformation. New tuners and fretboard, both necks realigned, the changer shafts were scored so those got replaced as well as copious other minor parts. Everything is polished to perfection, and the former useless waddation under the hood is now a vision of of order and efficiency. He even added a 6th lever to complete my copedant. It plays and sounds so good now that my Zum is feeling neglected and looking for a new partner.

Nothing left out, no shortcuts, and a stellar result, thank you Tommy!

"He even added a 6th lever to complete my copedant."

As in six knee levers?

From the photo of the under belly, I count 3, maybe 4, knee levers.
What did I miss?

I see 6. Look close... they're chrome, so they hide a bit.
Really nice steel...

Another masterpiece by Tommy Cass! I was at Tommy's house and saw this guitar in process. It was a mess. So hard to believe that Tom could turn it into this! Beautiful work!

I’m curious about the extra crank for the 6th string on the A pedal, it looks interesting...

The A pedal also keys a half-stop on the 6 string lower, thus a tunable split on a push-pull 😎
