Blue line, Non Master Volume Twin. Excellent cond, with tilt back legs. Fully gone thru, new caps, tubes, sounds really great. Yes... its heavy. New electrolytics, cord, reverb pan, etc. New single 12" 4ohm EPS-C speaker. The other speaker hole in the baffle is covered. Could easily be converted back to 2-12 with 2 8ohm speakers. Sorry, No shipping, local only.

Why would you have a Twin Reverb with only one speaker?

Would it be a "Single Reverb"? |

Single 12: I prefer the sound of a single 12, and the weight reduction does not hurt either. For those who prefer the 2-12 option, its easily done. Some like a single 15 which could easily be done with a new baffle.

back in the day when this amp was new, i knew guys who would disconnect one of the speakers in their twin and even pull the outside tubes out to reduce the volume and get it to break up for blues and rock. |

Kind of defeats the purpose of a Twin Reverb, don't you think?

Both my Twins have D-130 15" JBL's. One is a 74 the other, a 76 Ultra Linear. The 74 was ordered with the 15 and I recut the baffle on the 76 and put the grey basket in. This was back in 78 or so. Sold the two Fender 12" shortly after putting the 15 in.
Whatever trips your trigger I guess.... |

Still here, still great. The (new) speaker is beginning to break in nicely... Im only using it in the studio. Pick up or local meet up only, too heavy to ship.. I can sell as it is (my favorite)with the awesome sounding 4 ohm single 12 (with blocked second speaker cut out), or I''d sell it unloaded and deduct the cost of the speaker. I could also load it up with a pair of 8 ohm 12s (for a 4 ohm load) at cost. Whatever blows yer skirt up... Bahahaha.
Happy and safe Thanksgiving.
