That guitar is built on a true Single body. All the MSA Single necks I have seen are built on what I have heard called a 3/4 body. They have the front deck sitting on the ledge that looks like 2" of the back deck where the back neck would sit. It also has a 10 string key head. All the MSA 10 string guitars I have seen or worked on has 12 position key heads with only 10 keys. This type of build would be heavier and larger.

The "Mini-Pro" was their (somewhat) upscale starter model produced in the mid to late '70s. It was a single-body pull/release guitar aimed at the younger players who were proliferating back then, and it usually had a psychedelic designed finish. This was the mid period for the old MSA design, just before they merged with Micro Machining. After Micro got involved, the starter pull/release models were the "Red Baron" and "Sidekick". They also made a "Semi-Classic" model, which was a better (mid-priced) all-pull model; something kinda between a starter and a pro model.
