Anyone know where I can get a high-quality Fender 22.5" tack-on fretboard?
While I'm at it--anyone have advice for removing my old fretboard without damaging the wood of the body. It's on 60 years tight! _________________ Remington Steelmaster S8 w/ custom Steeltronics pickup. Vox MV-50 amplifier + an 1940's Oahu cab w/ 8" American Vintage speaker. J. Fretboard removal:
Get the fretboard popped up at the end enough to get a guitar string under and work it back and forth slowly. Use a small string. It will cut like a knife and stay smooth.
Use gloves. It will cut your finger too.
