I am hoping someone can help me with an issue concerning the left vertical knee lever on my Mullen Pre Royal Precision (if it is abnormal). When I go to use it, there is a good amount of travel before it starts to engage the changers creating too much play and the rods with the nylon nuts protrude out the end further than any others. The crossrods are hex so if the knee lever or bell crank was tightened on the next flat, it would be too drastic.
Not sure of the terminology but I would describe it as a return stop (see picture), which if the top was extended upward, it would engage the bottom of the guitar sooner upon releasing the knee lever. This would prevent the crossrod from returning too far counter clockwise and reduce the slop in my knee lever.
Not relevant, it is lowering my E9th 5th and 10th string by half and lowering my 6th string by full. Thank you for reading taking the time to try and understand what I am describing! |
