This is one of the VERY RARE Bigsby volume pedals hand-built by Paul Bigsby's ghost. Look at the eerie way the date is scratched on the bottom plate.

The next highest bidder has 57 feedbacks, and bid $3K!

Is it April 1st already?

I agree that the guy who won probably won't pay but did you see the guy from Germany who bid it up to $3000 in the bid history? My guess is that something fishy is going on with the bidding.

Something DEFINITELY ain't right---Specially since the pedal needs a volume pot, and the seller didn't polish it!

I have a Bigsby pedal just like that one that I got brand new from Paul Bigsby in 1956. Reacon I could trade it for a new Rains D10?

If that “0 feedback” winner actually comes through and pays the seller the $3050.00... I’ll eat my hat! We'll be seeing this auction again.

It just so happens that I have the missing "foot" from this pedal, and I'm willing to let it go for $350.

Out of interest, were these polished from the factory?

Yes they were! Usually when you see one the aluminum is darkened and scratchy with age and use, but originally they were shiny and mirrorlike, just like the necks, endplates and PU's on Bigsby's steels were.

One of these pedals was sold on fleabay 3 years back for $470 - a bit more realistic. And it was in better condition than this one!!
