Buddy’s playing on these albums is very loose and the steel is very upfront In the mix.He seems to play some riffs on these albums I haven’t heard him play before.

I don't see it on YouTube but if you can listen to the CD version of Liebe Mama, you can hear Buddy make extensive use of the E9th 3rd pedal.

Buddy was the perfect musician. Imagine him for a moment with a Horn ! Many times his solo's remind me of a Clarinet player...with chords !

Sure miss him
