This little amp is great for steel guitar. I have tried it for steel and you talk about light----1.6 pound 200 watt Elf fits in your back pocket.
The 10" speaker shown is only 16 pounds, so you are now portable as a steel player or any player, lead guitar, keyboard, violin, etc.

These are great sounding little amps. I use one with a Zoom G3 for effects, and a 12" Eminence 2112 Neo in a lightweight, closed back cabinet.
