I recently sent my 1980 D-10 push pull to Mike for a mechanical rebuild.
He did an outstanding job at a very reasonable price and got it back to me in short time. When I got it, a couple of things had shifted in transit that affected getting it in tune. So I called him and he spent 1 1/2 hours on the phone with me walking me through getting things readjusted. Minor stuff, but kinda like doing brain surgery with telephone instructions......
Needless to say- the guitar is in PERFECT operating condition now and sounds fantastic! Mike is a true gentleman knows his stuff. He backs his work and knows how to make a push pull sing.

Thanks mucho Mike!!!!

Mike has worked on maybe 10 push-pulls and LeGrandes I have, or have had. From simple adjustments to complete tear down and rebuilds. I think the last one was a ‘68 that arrived torn apart in cardboard boxes. What a mess that one was. It turned out great.

Anyway, his work is 1st-rate. He knows EVERYTHING about Emmons guitars. Sometimes I’m able to watch him work if I just bring a steel in for a simple adjustment or two. It’s amazing to watch his hands fly around while working on it, all the while telling you stories and giving his opinions.

That skill and expertise applies to other makes, too, based on the those I see in his shop awaiting work.

I simply cannot recommend him enough.

Anyone have a phone number for Mike Cass. Would like him to do some re-rodding on my push pull.
