Instructor Needed

I have a good friend who summers in the Detroit area and is a beginner steel player. He has a nice D-10 BMI that I helped him set up before he left for the summer. He'll be there until around October and I told him I'd ask if there was anyone in that neck of the woods who could get him started off on the right foot while he's there. He is a Forum member but doesn't do computers much. His only resource presently is the Winnie Winston book. Any thoughts?
