Who played on Charlie Louvin's "Just Between the Two of Us"?

Hello, I was curious as to who played on Charlie Louvin's "Just Between the Two of Us"? Mid-60's tune.
The same steeler played on Melba Montgomery records as well, because he used some of the same licks, the same style, and the same tone. And they were unique, and as tasteful as one could ask for. Thanks!

Hey Eddie...I once asked Melba who played on her records in the 60s and she said"Honey,sometimes we used Buddy and sometimes Hal Rugg did'em"...I think Hal played on the CL record in question...

This is a hard one and I usually don't guess on who's playing threads....
Judging by the tone I would guess its Hal..Stylistically its hard to tell because the truth is that in the early days all of the high level players could imitate and play what the others played. And many times it is the tone and emotion that identifies who played.....The lick at the end of the turn is a Jimmy Day lick of which I have heard Hal play many times in jams. I don't recall ever hearing that lick from Buddy C....Its definitely not Jimmy Day's tone.

Now that I listen more closely and think about it, the lick referred to isn't typical of Charleton's playing, so I'll yield to those obviously more in the know. Even the greats have influences, though, and I suppose that if it is Hal, he may have heard Charleton in this earlier version:

Thanks for all the replies! I have loved that style of playing for many years, ever since I was a kid. And I have wondered about that lick as well and I had the pleasure of seeing an ole' friend in Nashville this past weekend. And he explained it to me, I came home, sat down at the guitar and played it. He should be a teacher. And I'm talking about Steve Hinson. So, thank you Steve! Gregg Galbraith told me how to play that lick
over the phone one Saturday morning,I heard the CL
record on WSM and called him,I knew he'd know what was going on!He knows more steel licks than most steel players!
