One pair I'd had tucked away and forgotten about that seems to be working pretty good as a street to steel shoe is the Clark's Wallabees. It's like an oven mitt on your feet. The sole is flat as a board and about 1/2" thick. It's a nice crutch for using A+B in concert, but a bit of a stretch to execute an A+F into A+B, especially a fret away. I also find my foot coming off the heel sometimes which I didn't expect for a thicker soled shoe. Comments? Complaints, Concerns?

Yeah - they're good shoes, but I have to tighten up shoes like this as tight as I can. You don't have a lot to work with with those two-hole Wallabees.
