I saw Suzy last night at a great venue in Asheville, NC called The Grey Eagle. She is still singing just like always. I couldn't quite get over the feeling that her career like so many over 50ish is sort of winding down. Oh and there was no steel player just a stand up bass and and a lead guitar player with a b bender and a Taylor acoustic.

Gary Morse played steel on a lot of Suzy's songs in the nineties. Suzy has been doing shows with Terri Clark and Pam Tillis lately. I remember the steel work on Suzy's song "Just Like The Weather", played by Dan Dugmore. |
