Very nice Doug, as usual. What tuning are you using?

Nuages - "Clouds." Great number and a great addition to the B11 repertoire. Very Happy

Great Jack, I will be in the audience listening...look forward to all the great music there !

Doug, nice job as always...this has long been one of my favorite Django's composition...probably his best known.
As always, your playing inspires me...I play it on 6 string guitar, but havent worked on it much on steel...I should try
it again ! Thanks for posting it.

Mike, I'm glad you're playing it on your tuning. I hope more steel players start playing this great tune. I first heard the song on a Chet Atkins album. He played it in a somewhat Latin style and I like that. I should have tabbed it out when I recorded it 10 years ago. I've forgotten how to play it, and I seldom play B11 nowadays. Andy Volk has an arrangement of Nuages in his B11 song book.

Rose Sinclair has been performing that song for years, and beautifully if I don't say so myself. Wink

It's one of Django's most beautiful songs. Well played, Doug! I arranged another beautiful Django composition,Manoir De Mes Reves, in D6th tuning (a one-string variation from Open D) for my book on Open D and related tunings. Audio at bottom of thread).

I've wanted to do Nuages ever since I learned JB's intro to "Sand". I plan on doing Sand after I've played Nuages, going from F to D.
