I've been using a MarkBass Little Mark 250 since June. I am still having problems finding a tone I like. It doesn't have any warmth like you would find in a NV400 or a tube amp. I added an EQ that helps some. I feed it into a Telonics 15" speaker. That could be part of the problem. I'm really finding that I don't like that speaker. Not even with my NV 400 head. I'm going to go back to my Black Widow 1502. The amp has great string separation and loads of clean power.

I got the DVmark little 250 . I can't get a tone on it at all . It's all wrong for steel guitar . Maybe all those class D amps are like that ? I played through a SWR combo and it sounded great . It's probably an analog amp .

You might want to check out these two new Peavey bass amplifiers for steel guitar applications. I've used the Mini Max live with my Emmons steel guitar and it sounded pretty good. For your information, in general, bass amps and steel amps are similar in that they both have high damping factor specs(which control the movement of the speaker).

Let me know what you think when you get a chance to try one out.

The new Trace Elliot Elf is 200 watts at 4ohms and weighs less than 2 lbs. It has a 3 band eq and built-in DI.

I was going to try the Elf, but not having an effects loop was a deal breaker for me. The headphone out is cool though.
