Aside from the Lloyd Green interview I posted about recently, I did one with Lloyd Maines as well that would be interesting to steel players. Lots of cool info about the Texas music scene and playing steel for Joe Ely, etc. Here's the link:

Steve, thanks so much for the interview with my old pal Lloyd. Texas in the 70's was a great place to play steel guitar. Great memories.
BTW, at the end of the interview when Lloyd is talking about Wayne Hancock, we can hear a lot of the excellent Rose Sinclair playing her Stringmaster guitar. _________________ My rig: Infinity and Telonics.

Please Steve interview Herb for us, I not only admire him for his steel playing but also for his knowledge and his memory. Love the hear him about the early California and Texas scene. oh Herb we met several times in Austin when i came with Neil Flanz to listen to you.
