I was going through some songbooks the other day and found a couple of old cowboy/western songs that looked good to tab out.
The 1st one is "Be Honest With Me."
This song was written in 1941 by Gene Autry and Fred Rose.
The 2nd is "Ridin' Down To Santa Fe".
This song was written in 1944 by Johnny Bond. |

Hi Erv, do you have a listing of your back up tracks? Also, can they be down loaded to BITB? What is the cost for tacks?
Thanks |

Lorren,
I don't have any backup tracks for the Country Classics.
I have a couple for gospel, a couple for Hawaiian and one for Christmas songs.
They all come on CD's. |

I just finished tabbing out 3 songs that were hits for George Jones.
The 1st is:
"A Few Old Country Boys"
I believe this song ware written as sort of a tribute to Randy Travis in 1990.
The 2nd is:
"Her Name Is ....."
This song was written by Bobby Braddock in 1976
The 3rd is:
"Two Story House"
Tammy Wynette was co-writer on this song in 1980. |

My latest Country Classic is: "Raining In My Heart".
It was 1st recorded by Buddy Holly in 1959
Then by Skeeter Davis in 1967
and subsequently by:
Anne Murray
Leo Sayer
Hank Williams Jr.
Don McLean
and I'm sure a few others.
However, I believe my favorite version is by Jo-el Sonnier in Cajun fashion. |

My latest Country Classics are a result of requests from a couple of fellow steelers.
The 1st is: "I'm Not Lisa".
This song was written and recorded by Jessi Colter in 1972.
The 2nd goes back quite a bit further, if is: "When I Stop Dreaming", written by the Louvin brothers in 1955. |

My latest Country Classic goes back to 1946.
The song is "Rainbow At Midnight". It was written by Lost John Miller and was a #1 hit for Ernest Tubb.
The song relates the story of a GI returning to the States after the 2nd World War aboard a troop ship.
I hope you like it. |

I picked up an old Ernest Tubb song book a while back and am going through it and tabbing out some songs usually associated with Ernest Tubb.
My latest is: "The Warm Red Wine".
This song was written by Cindy Walker in 1949.
It was 1st recorded by Bob Bills and then by Ernest Tubb in the same year, 1949.
Subsequently, it has been recorded by:
Hank Thompson
George Jones
Willie Nelson
& Johnny Bush, to name a few. |
