O.K. I'm not a total idiot, but I can't find the battery on my L10K pedal. Any help here? |

I removed the back plate and I can see compartment that appears to be for a battery, but no battery. Nor is there a wiring harness to connect a battery. I bought it new from a music store listed on Reverb.com. I wonder if it's really a L120, with the wrong back plate? I'll take a picture later today. |

I would say that is what happened. I have H10K I use for a back up. I went to a Hilton so I don't have to mess with a battery but the others are good pedals. Wes _________________ Justice S10 Jr, Gibson Electra 6string, Boss Katana 100, Steelers Choice ,Gretsch 6 string lap, Hilton VP |

Jim take a look at the Potentiometer back and see what the rating is. I've run across this before with H10K Goodrich. People get tired of the electronics and battery bit, and convert the pedal into a 120, by putting in a standard 500k clarostat or Allen Bradley,
Ive never seen a new one come out of the box this way, but anything is possible. |

I had an L10K that someone converted to a pot pedal. I suspect something goes bad in the board, and with not schematics, it gets tossed. _________________ Amateur Radio Operator NA4IT (Extra)

I may, in fact, be nuts. However, I am screwed onto the right bolt... Jesus! |

I checked the pot and it is a 500k. For some reason I can't get a picture to download. I know how to do it, but it keeps rejecting.
Anyway, I think you guys are correct in that someone has converted the pedal to a L120. Thanks for the help. |
