I just moved to Ocala, FL from Kentucky. Does anyone know who I could find down here to add a KL and get my guitar tuned the way I want it?
I've talked to Don Suleski and the guy he knew has stopped working on steels. |

Bump. Gotta be someone.
Randy, I spent years behind a ShoBud S10 with 3+2. I know the feeling.
It might help if you tell us more about the guitar, and what you want to add to it. Good luck. In the mean time, squeeze everything you can out of it. |

Yes, we need to know more.
Although I over the years have done whatever is necessary (and then some) to set up my own PSGs the way I want, I will need to know a whole lot more about that particular steel before volunteering to do anything to it.
I plan to stay down in Hernando county over the winter, and will work on expanding the inner workings on my own PSGs while I'm there. So, if no-one else steps in to help you out with your steel, there might be a chance... |

I played an Emmons PP SD 10 for years, sold it in a moment of weakness and finally bought a guitar made by Sam Lewis in Arkansas. It is an all pull and D 10. It only has three knees. I want to add the RR KL and have it lower the D's. I also want the LR KL to lower the 6th instead of raising the 7th.
this is what I had before and really like it. I'm also trying to learn the C neck and would like to have it tuned the way BE did in his course.
The guitar has beautiful tone and great sustain. I just want to have the confidence that I had before. Hope I'm making some sense. I am the most unmechanical person I know and can't do it myself. |

If it's the one I'm thinking of, it's all-pull and beautiful. _________________ 2 pedal steels, a lapStrat, and an 8-string Dobro (and 3 ukes)

It really is a great sounding steel Lane. Sam did a really nice job on it. |

I can at least take a look at it. I am on the way to Florida right now, so in a few days... |

I'll check when I get my laptop set up tomorrow. Right now I'm waiting in Atlanta for the plane to Tampa, and I don't check mails on public connections. |
