Hi, I haven't used my Multibender lap steel ever since I got my Fender 400 pedal steel - might be willing to sell it, if you don't find someone closer to you that's selling one (I'm in Vienna, Austria).
That lap steel is somewhere in a walk-in closet crammed full of stuff, would have to dig it out, if you are really interested!
It has 3 levers, BTW! |

Hi Roman, thanks so much for getting in touch.
Believe it or not, you've already been a great help to me in the past!
A few years back, when I first decided to fit a Multibender to my lap steel, I logged onto the SGF.
I needed advice on tuning options that would make the best use of the 'bender. After reading various threads, I tried a tuning you had suggested (lo-hi B-C#-E-G#-B-E). Looking back at my list written at the time, I actually wrote 'Roman' by the tuning.
Thanks to you, that's the tuning that really worked with the 'bender for me, and I used it from then on....so many thanks!!
Recently I decided to move up to an 8-string but needed to sell the 6-string (with the 'bender) to fund the deal.
I'm getting on fine with the 8-string, but I find I'm missing the Multibender much more than I thought I would.
I retired partly due to ill-health recently, so I'm on a reduced income and couldn't really afford a new 'bender....hence my advert on the SGF looking for a pre-owned one.
I'm not sure if you're thinking of selling the Multibender on it's own, or the complete lap steel, but I'd certainly be interested in 'talking' more.
It's also great that you're based in Austria, on the same time zone, and no import/export charges to worry about if we can do a deal!
How's that Fender 400 by the way? I've often dreamt of owning one.
Looking forward to your reply,
Regards from County Cork, Ireland,

Hi,
love the Fender 400 - though lately I've been playing more straight 8-string C6 lap steel, in my current rockabilly band I try to play standing up, better for stage optics & dynamics with that music.
I only want to sell the Multibender, not the lap steel, I'd make you a good price (not sure what they are going for currently...)
I'm a bit busy today & tomorrow (got a gig outside of town tonight, and a job as a soundtech tomorrow), I'll try and find it on Sunday.
Cheers,
Roman |

PS: I'd love to see a clip of your band.... anything on YouTube? |
