Where to start a description of this guitar? After a lifetime of strictly tele enthusiast, I acquired this PRS guitar a while back,,and I must say, it is hands down the "sweetest" little guitar I have ever seen, heard, played or owned. I can't say enough about this guitar. It is, I guess you'd say, a Paul Reed Smith "clone",,,back of headstock imprinted "Built By World Musical Instrument Co. LTD Korea under Exclusive License For PRS Guitars J05268". When I first got it I was skeptical of "korea", I took it over to a San Antonio music store to compare to original PRS guitars,,,comared it to a $1900 one and a $3300 one,,,totally 100% in the same class,,,maybe not better (how can you get better than perfect?),,,but no difference. Also had a couple of other guys there compare the two and they agreed,,,the only difference is the statement on headstock! So, if you want a Paul Reed Smith guitar (and if you have not played one, compare it to your tele!!) this is the buy of a lifetime! Priced at $375 firm plus shipping. Includes plush hardshell case. The pics make it look red,,,but it is actually a deep mahogany back and neck,,,tiger striped maple front, humbuckers that can be sweet an mellow or growl and bite like a tele. If it were not for the arthritis in my hands, and the fact that I just don't need this fine of guitar (I NEVER play out anymore) I would NOT consider parting with this guitar. I used to deal in and have a pretty good collection of vintage guitars and I can say, This is the finest guitar I've ever owned. This little guitar "just feels right",,,in addition to sounding right!

You know, back when I was young (50s-60s)we thought if guitars were not Gibson, Guild, Gretch, Fender etc,,,,"made in America" it was bound to be inferior,,,and that was true for the most part. But the world has changed,,,,foreign cars are equal to or superior to American made,,and how about appliances,,or electronics,,,and technology,,all superior quality at a lower price! And it's the same with some of these instruments and being from the old school, I was skeptical about this guitar, that's why I went to some big music stores and compared this guitar to the REALLY high dollar American made ones. I'm afraid someone is letting the "made in Korea" stand in the way of having a top quality, equal to, or superior to, instrument for a fraction of the cost! It's too bad a potential buyer can't test drive this guitar,,I know the reluctance to buy something that you can't play, hold or feel before you buy. I would consider offering a return policy on this guitar,,that's how confident I am of it. Contact me, let's talk.

FWIW,,,the pictures make it look kinda red,,,but in fact it is a deep, dark mahogany,,,a beautiful guitar.

Hey Sonny, that's one fine guitar for sure. I have two PRS SE model guitars. One is the Carlos Santana model and one is a Sig. model for a foreign guitarist I've never heard of named Mikael Akerfeldt. But both guitars are of superb quality and you can play an American made PRS and I can't tell any difference in how they play, feel or sound from the SE models.....Somebody should jump in on buying this fine instrument.......JH
