I found a used copy of The Buckaroos LP Boot Hill - with no steelplayer listed. That is, Emmons is listed as guest steeler on Cajun Steel Guitar. Buck was without steelplayer for a period of time when he carried a banjo player in the band - but this LP is before that - and it features both Doyle Holly and Doyle Singer. Was this one recorded between two steelmen or what...?

Emmons is the only steel player listed on "Boot Hill" but listen through and let me know if there are cuts that don't sound like Emmons.

As far as I can tell, Buddy Emmons is listed as the only steel player on this album...

I did quick listen to a couple sides on YouTube and it's Buddy on those. Bet it sounds good on vinyl.
