Does anyone know whether reducing the tension on the spring screws on the right endplate would make the pedal action a bit ligfhter. My msa is my main guitar and the pedal action is perfect. However, when I switch to the sierra the pedal action is stiffer than I prefer. Any comments appreciated. tbh

The springs provide the necessary tension to return lowers to pitch. Adjusting them should have no effect on raises.

I don't know about the Artist, but on the Session you can change the pedal action by selecting a different slot for the rod attachment at the pedal (there are 3 holes, and the default is the middle posn). Also, there are 2 posns at the other end of the rod, where it attaches to the underside of the guitar.
