Yeah, laugh about it Smile

During a session for the latest album from my band Any Vegetable we tried everything for getting weird sounds. For one song we needed a kind of strings-sound, but we promised each-other that we only should work with our instruments bass, drums, guitars and pedalsteel. So the producer and me wanted a kind of Daniel Lanois-approach on a song. Experimenting with all kinds of effect brought us on the idea of having a kind of very fast attack and Ebow. So next day he brought in a vibrator. After a lot of laughing and joking and making shure with a big grin that the 'thing' was clean Smile, I used it with an Ebow and recorded a lot of layers. I'm satisfied with the effect. In the next song I use it in the backing, you can hear it well after the solopart, (also pedalsteel) Enjoy Smile Smile

Cool effect...worked well in this song...nice to hear some experimentation and I think the steel lends itself to unique sounds...

Indeed cool sound.
It's also important to make sure one's steel guitar is satisfied. Very Happy

Defintely got the Daniel Lanois sound there Johan, even down to the vocals.

Adds a new meaning to tremolo I guess or is it purely vibrato you're using Laughing

Nice song Smile
