I bought this guitar from Greg back in May 2014, used it for a month or so and it has been sitting in my closet since then. Excellent guitar, I just never got the hang of using fingerpicks, so sticking with electric lap steel. Nice TKL hardshell case.

Here is the original post with more details from Greg:

I have had inquiries about possible trades, right now I am not looking for trades on this instrument.

This is a high quality professional instrument made in USA, Greg McKenna's handiwork and attention to detail really shines through.

Hi Eric ,
I know that some of the newer McKenna's that Greg has opened up the sound well on them for increased volume ...Does your reso have this feature ? ..... I've always wanted to try a McKenna ....What is the asking price for this reso ? .....Thanks ..Jim

Hi Jim,

I am not sure of the design on this one, maybe Gregg can chime in, he should remember. It has the RQ Jones cone in it which I think gives it a smoother growl. But I am by no means an expert Gregg will know.

Thanks,
Eric
