Ok sit down; I'm helping to sell this very rarely for sale, 1973 first year and only year the LDG was built with this (my favorite) tuning mechanism and the best sounding one; on big body; round front; emerald Green; rope inlay, beautiful pedal Steel guitar.
It has the Day set up but here's a very rare situation; it has the exact current Lloyd Maines copedent on it. Yes I've gone through this pedal steel and it plays and sounds awesome.
$2600.00 gets it delivered to your front door.

Yes those are TWO tuneable half stops on there..ah..ha.

Wow Ricky. That's tone to the bone. Love that Sho-bud sizzle. What a great axe.

So the recordings demonstrate the fantastic tone. But what you don't easily see is how smooth it plays after Ricky has gone thru a steel like this. Ricky did mine and it plays like a dream. Someone's gonna get a really great pedal steel in this sale.

Some folks have been asking what do I run my 1973 LDG thru to get that great tone on the recordings and this is all I record thru; it is the LDG that gets the great recorded sound..cause I use stuff from a long time ago that barely works..ha.
1973 LDG.
1973 Sho~bud volume pedal AB pot.
plugged straight in to a 1970 Fender silverface twin that has been blackfaced. 1975 JBL K-130 and mic-ed with a good vocal mic.
I use a little reverb on the amp.
That's it.
