Just curious how many of you own a Remington and if you would post a picture of it. I once owned a S8 Remington...I kinda thought of it as a modern day Fender style ...it was a great steel, but alas I sold it.

Here's my 1991 D-8 Remington Steelmaster. I purchased it from Gruhn's in Nashville. It had a letter in the case from Herb Remington where a previous owner had written him inquiring about the pickups, and Herb responded with a personal letter.

I owned one just like yours , Steve. It was my first in a long line of double necks.

I have a D8, new from Herb directly that I play almost every day and the sound is fantastic. It has made me neglect my beloved six string standard guitars. I use C13th on the inner neck and B11th on the outer and I am helplessly addicted to using both necks almost as one when playing many tunes. I think the natural ash finish is gorgeous.

I had one identical to Frank's above. Thought it was a great guitar. Went over to the dark side (pedals) and it got parked in the closet. Sometimes wish I still had it, but I already have too much stuff in the aforementioned closet.

Don't tell my wife I said that.

Here's my D8 of unknown vintage. It's moved with me from Texas to Iowa and back to Texas in the last four years...

The sunburst Remington was not a production model. I dismantled the all the hardware and sent the body to Duane Marrs steel guitars in Tenn. A fellow that did a lot of their finish work did the sunburst for me.

I have the Remington name plate for it, but can't bring myself to attach it. I also rewired the two neck with stacked tone/volume controls.
