Epiphone Casino Natural with gig bag. $325 + shipping.
New strings and just serviced (intonation, action, etc). Guitar is six or seven years old. Shows a little wear from being used onstage occasionally by reasonably well-known guitarist for famous iconic psychedelic band.

That info is for someone who might actually want to have a cheap, very decent Epi Casino for its own sake, sorry. Sort of as icing on the cake. Doesn't matter for anyone who doesn't want one. _________________ Just another belt & suspenders guy... |

I wonder how difficult it would be to get those Union Jack stickers off and not leave behind really obvious "impressions?" _________________ Mark |

I was told it's priced the way it is because of those stickers. The cheapest one on ebay at the moment is $350, pickup only and no gig bag. After that the prices start climbing, including ones with cracked nuts, broken headstocks, etc.
However, I have found that a little lighter fluid goes a long way in removing residue from stickers on guitars, having given in to the urge to put naked fatgirls on one or more of my guitars over the years and regretting it later... _________________ Just another belt & suspenders guy... |

Nice. In that case, I'll just assume it has no association with my favorite band. |

Nice looking axe, and the ones from that era were pretty nice. |

Nick, thanks for the tip on the lighter fluid.
Mike and Nick - do you know if there something significantly different about this guitar which Nick writes is 6 or 7 years old as compared to a brand new 2015 model? One of the online retailers has new ones for $449 delivered. _________________ Mark |

I don't know anything about these guitars except it's supposed to be the John Lennon model. My friend, who it belongs to, is a professional guitarist and selected this particular one for his job. I would assume he would be able to tell a good one from one that isn't as good and would want the best one for himself to work with. Maybe every one off the line is great - I don't know. It's currently being test-driven by the rhythm guitarist in my band so it may already be spoken for. I'll update the offer when I know if he's going to keep it. _________________ Just another belt & suspenders guy... |
