Watched Emmylou Harris & Rodney Crowell concert on P.B.S. (Detroit) last night from Austin City Limits.
I believe it was done in 2013. If it's ever repeated put it on your list to watch and listen to "Country" as it should be. AND what a smokin' band.

I saw it last night on PBS. I was just ready to go and practice steel when I saw it coming on. Luckily I watched! Really fantastic - They are going to be in Tucson in Sept 2015 at FOX theater:

I've never seen a capo used on a steel before but have a look starting about 40.40 on "leaving Louisiana ". I guess if you want the sound of a pull-off and hammer-ons, but it's in the wrong key, then you got no choice. Never seen one used before. I won't be rushing down to get one.

Good show, great band. She still looks very good.

I watched this the other night. Steve and Jed are great players. I was curious about the steel capo, too. Does it move when you use the pedals? Is it so he can play out of G (which cajun steel players seem to favor)?

Great show. I wonder what Fish was using for a capo - every one I've every heard didn't play in tune if pedals/levers were used, but his seemed to work great.

Looked to me like the old style Paul Beard dobro capo. (Not the newer Wave capo.). Couldn't tell if it was the dobro width or something designed similarly but wider.

You can do cool things with a capo just be careful with the pedals.
