Hi Erv, or anyone else that may have tried the Hammond G pedal, Leslie simm. How does it stack-up to any other Leslie simms ?

Thanks, J. W.

Thanks Erv. I know you have that one. Your like the guru of Leslie effects here. I want one that the speed really does go down to zero. For that chorus effect. I know the G pedal is new, perhaps someone has tried it. Does the one you have slow down to nothing ?

Thanks, J. W.

John,
I really can't tell you, I don't have it at hand.
I seldom use the slow speed.
I'm rigging the Leslie on a board along with this unit:

I just wish I had a way to control the speed on my Zoom MS-50G when in roto mode... other than flicking the button with my right hand!

Looks like you're setup to do some great church organ Erv!

Scott,
Yes, you've got that right!
When I do a solo gig, I usually try to incorporate some organ sound. I go through a song straight and then kick in the organ effect for a chorus or so.

I use the "organ" patch I programmed in my Zoom to do songs that just sound better with an organ part. And I love B3 gospel... any flavor!

I guess I'm the odd man out here, but I have no desire to make my steel sound like a Hammond with a Leslie. Maybe just the circumstances of my work.

Some of those old gospel songs just cry for the organ sound! Very Happy
