Hi Erv, or anyone else that may have tried the Hammond G pedal, Leslie simm. How does it stack-up to any other Leslie simms ?
Thanks, J. W.

John,
I don't have that one.
This is the one I have:

Thanks Erv. I know you have that one. Your like the guru of Leslie effects here. I want one that the speed really does go down to zero. For that chorus effect. I know the G pedal is new, perhaps someone has tried it. Does the one you have slow down to nothing ?

John,
I really can't tell you, I don't have it at hand.
I seldom use the slow speed.
I'm rigging the Leslie on a board along with this unit:

I just wish I had a way to control the speed on my Zoom MS-50G when in roto mode... other than flicking the button with my right hand!
Looks like you're setup to do some great church organ Erv! _________________ Amateur Radio Operator NA4IT (Extra)

Scott,
Yes, you've got that right!
When I do a solo gig, I usually try to incorporate some organ sound. I go through a song straight and then kick in the organ effect for a chorus or so. |

I use the "organ" patch I programmed in my Zoom to do songs that just sound better with an organ part. And I love B3 gospel... any flavor! _________________ Amateur Radio Operator NA4IT (Extra)

I guess I'm the odd man out here, but I have no desire to make my steel sound like a Hammond with a Leslie. Maybe just the circumstances of my work. _________________ Dr. Z Surgical Steel amp, amazing!

Some of those old gospel songs just cry for the organ sound! ![Very Happy](images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif) |
