Topic: Who can make a new pedal rod? |

Hi fellow steelers,
A pedal rod on my Lamar guitar snapped the other day.
I have reached out to Lamar- no response yet.
Also tried John Widgren- both/either may be busy....but I really want to get a replacement made asap.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. |

'PSG parts' supply sho bud and msa pedal rods, 5/16 and 3/8 dia respectively, specified length made to order. Can be reached via the forum link at top of page ' steel related product's. Hope this helps, great price and service.

Basically, the Lamar is a very small guitar- I love it for the small footprint.
But the parts are a bit light.....and I definitely have a heavy foot.
It was my B pedal rod.
I pushed a little too hard, and the rod snapped right at the bend up top where it hooks onto the bottom of the guitar.
I'll get some pics and post them tomorrow.

post a photo of the broken rod, both ends...fabricating rods is not a big deal, obviously if you have the proper tools.
Also a photo of a GOOD rod with the proper length detailed. Knowing the diameter of the rod stock size is equally important.

I recommend this guy, Gary N Jones, a forum member and retired machinist. He just made 2 levers for me. They are perfect and better than the originals.
His price was actually less than the manufacture and the parts are better quality.
