Dwight - The red lead is the hot one, the bare one and the black lead are grounds. The green and white leads must be connected (soldered) and tied off/insulated from making contact with anything. Just used this info recently and it's accurate.

Yes Paul, how are you? I just finished listening to your CD. After measuring all wires together. I figured what you said to be the case. I got everything sorted and the MSA I put it has been transformed into a beast. I hope all is well with you. How are the new guitars coming along? I am waiting for one of those 12 strings to come to my door step with the sacred steel tuning. I know you have heard me say it before but the Red Dekley you worked on for me is the talk of Sared Steel, here in Florida. You are the best. What is the best time to call you now. I know I always talk to you late at night. But its been a while. Take care good friend.
