Rob, fantastic job. I have read a number of interviews with Tim over the years and this is far and away the best. It answered several questions for me. _________________ Mark |

Thank you for taking the time to do all the things necessary to post these. Everyone one of them have been interesting and informative. Are there any plans to interview Todd Clinesmith? _________________ Clinesmith consoles D-8/6 5 pedal, D-8 3 pedal & A25 Frypan, Pettingill Teardrop, & P8 Deluxe. |

Rob, that was a very interesting and informative interview. Thank you very much.
p.s. I still have a colored picture of an almond-burst Scheerhorn dobro. I think only Elderly Music was selling them. I think the cost was @ $2,200 back then (when they had one in stock). |

What Elderly did for years was have a certain number of instruments annually that were in the order queue. Some folks, before a Scheerhorn was even built for an Elderly destined guitar that would be coming up, would contact the store and secure one of those spots in line so that they didn't have to endure the four year wait.
Then they could order the guitar the way they wanted it. _________________ Mark |

Two unsung heros is the resonator guitar world are Stan Werbin & Raoul Mitts of Elderly.
Those guys had the vision to take product from several (then) unknown builders and make those resos known & available on a scale that the builders could not do on their on.
When I was "In the business" Raoul and I were always comparing notes, gauging the market, commiserate on the economy (or in 2007-8 the lack thereof) and talk of innovation.
Elderly is a jewel in the music biz.
From my perspective of course
