He appears around 27.30 when Barbra does Rollin in my sweet babies arms.

Sounds like Hal but not sure if it looks like him. The guy was playing a prettry lacquer sunburst Emmons with aluminum necks

Also. Did Paul play in any of the live songs. I think that I heard him but cant be sure. Alot if the stage shots by the camera men only focus on Barbra and blur the backup musicians out.[/url]

I didn't stay for the credits, but, at the first break, they announced the bill walker orchestra. hal rugg was bill walker's, go-to-guy on steel guitar for many years especially on award shows and I would bet that is him. the part you mention does sound, his signature.

country jack...

That middle knuckle on the right hand looks like Doug Jernigan.

If you are referring to the player during the Mandrel sisters medley around the 1 hour mark it's definitely not Hal Rugg or Doug Jernigan. Hard to really get a clear look but looks like he has a moustache and they are introduced as The Do Rights. Naturally everyone except the musicians are credited. Must be more important to know who does the Mandrel's hair.
