Just finished this '66 Bolt-On, Brown Belly, push pull.#1062 D
Loaded with 8 & 10. I bought this guitar from Weldon Myrick in 1968 and sold it to a friend in 1971. He has had it all these years and sold it back to me in 2011.

OMG Tommy, that under carriage is prettier than a tricked out Chevy 327 I once saw in a hot rod. Great Work. And the rest looks great too. _________________ MSA CLassic SD-10

The shine on those knee levers is the best I think I have ever seen. The rods reflecting in them almost makes the levers look invisible. Awesome job. Two right knee left's with the secondary placed out front. That's my set-up. It's drop dead gorgeous from top to bottom. I'm not one to get hung up on PP's for a everyday driver.Rosewood is not my favorite color. But I really wish I had not seen this.
All I can say is super work Tom. And that seems like such an understatement.
At second glance I think it's Mahogany which is my least favorite color, and I'm still blown away. Thanks to Weldon,( Kinda of a long story] My dad has a twin or at least a very close sibling to this guitar.

Thanks Guys for all the kind words.
This guitar sounds great. The pickups were rewound by Harold Saunders, a great guy, and I believe it has the edge on my "BLACK" '71. |

One more thought, if they had steel shows like car shows, this would take the big trophy. _________________ MSA CLassic SD-10

Beautiful work Tommy!
I can't think of anything that gets me more excited than a restored 68 Camaro or an Emmons PP.

I would simply love to own this guitar.
But a guitar like this needs to be played regularly.
What a beauty. _________________ Email: azpedalman@gmail.com

I dropped in at Tommy's and had the opportunity to see this guitar. The attention to detail and workmanship are unbelievable. Better than new and you can eat off the undercarriage. Why you would do that is debatable...
Someone is going to own a Mona Lisa of an Emmons D-10. |
