Depending on current market prices, I'm not sure I have the funds to do this, but I'm looking for a nice Dual Professional in good condition. Preferably a '53 or similar. The most important factors are strong pickups and good functioning tuners, pots and electronics, and legs that don't slip. Re-fins are fine too, as I just buy 'em to play 'em.

Again, I may not have the dough to do this, but depending on what's out there, you never know -- I might find a way! I have a bunch of old lap steels and other stuff I might consider for trades, too.

My email is kanekila@gmail.com

Thanks!

I've got a decent mid 50's Dual Pro 8 string that I'd trade for a Rickenbacker CW D-8.

So, I received one email from a Michael (no last name), but couldn't reply immediatelyy at that time. Now it's gone...??? Weird. It' also quite possible I accidentally hit delete by mistake, too.

In any case, Michael - could you please send me a PM again here on the forum, or email me again with more details on your DP?

Thanks!

Talk to David at California Vintage Guitar and Amp. He just got a collection of steels including a '52 dual pro. Also a '56 or thereabouts Fender Champ, and a Magnatone triple 8. All with their original cases too! (Tell Him I sent ya, and if you buy something, send a couple bucks to the Forum).

I just looked at the CA Vintage website and the champ is listed, but not the Dual Pro or Magnatone.
They were all in the store last Monday! They may not have been listed yet.
