Installed new nickel Live Steel Strings on my Mullen G2 this morning. I thought, how good they sound. Ended up changing strings on all my guitars. So had to order more!
Just wanted to let everyone know, Live Steel Strings business is still going strong as ever and I even got to talk to our friend Sid. Very Happy

Right on. Live Steel are the best sounding strings on both my 'Bud and my P/P. Sid is a prince of a man.

Tommy, I put a set of Live steel nickel on my G2 and really like em. Had to put a set on my Legrande III to.
Very good strings!

I agree, they are exceptional strings. I especially like the smooth wrap on the ball end so the end of the wire doesn't stick up and scar the finger. Outstanding service also. Martin.

How does the nickel compare in sound to the stainless? I have only used stainless, and they hold up great to sweaty hands.

I find the nickel strings to be a bit warmer...

Your bar slides over nickel strings easier than stainless, also.

I tried Nickle recently and love them.To my ear they have a slightly smoother tone than Stainless. They seem to hold tuning very well too. I don't find myself touching up the tuning all the time.
