Hey Bob,
That sounds like Pass MeBy, not Invitation to the Blues.

Great picking

I think you're both wrong. Sounds like "I've Enjoyed As Much Of This As I Can Stand" to me.Excellent picking. I enjoyed it......whatever it is.

Ha! This gets crazy!

Donny stuck on a track and said, who fancies a crack at this, I said, don’t know it, never played it but go for it! Donny said, excuses already Mr Adams! Yup! I replied!

When I put this video up I didn’t know what it was! I asked and was told it was…. Invitation to the blues! And thought mmm!??? I played Miller’s number and there was a phrase or two that fitted but! For me the jury is still out! As you say Rick ‘I enjoyed it whatever it was’! There was some banter in the room on that and sweet dreams the other upload! But it was all in good spirit between chaps I have much respect for!

Bill, I have to say here, your work on promoting pedal steel to the wider world is exemplary; I have had many hours enjoyment at your hand, thank you! I endeavor to do the same over here in the UK and know all too well the unpaid hours that go into this passion of ours! Hats off to you, Sir!

Thank you both for chipping in here, it is appreciated!

Hey Bob,

I think maybe someone played a trick on you. I think this is what you're playing. Country standard written by Bill Anderson and Jeannie Seely. You play it very well.

Rick, what a star you are! Whispering Bill! I should have known! shame on me!........... Anderson's lyrics are the back bone of steel playing! Mike Johnston has him covered in recent times, would that I could get near to Mike's gift!

Bob,

I've done the same thing. I was confused on a fiddle tune and called it the wrong one for a few years until someone set me straight. The one I was playing was in A, but the one I referred to it as is G tune. Then I had to learn the other one. You've got the right idea.... It's all about having fun.
